These workshops will further your understanding of Montessori and how it can support your child's development and your parenting. They are full of helpful, practical advice about how to implement Montessori at home and are delivered by Alisa Khakhar - AMI qualified Montessori Teacher and mum of 2 who has tried and tested this at home with all the real-life challenges that brings!

Montessori Toilet Learning - FREE Taster Webinar - Tues 30 April 8pm

Find out how you can use Montessori principles at home to support your child on their toilet learning journey in a child-led and respectful way. This taster webinar will give you some of the developmental and practical info you need to get started in supporting your toddler on this important next step in their independence. Montessori for Babies

Creating a Nurturing Environment for your Baby

Find out more about Montessori for Babies and how applying the principles at home can help you support your baby’s development and your bond with them. In a small group we will cover baby development and how our knowledge of this and Montessori principles can help us create a loving, respectful and nurturing environment for your baby and support them in their development. This workshop is suitable for those expecting a baby or with a new baby from birth up to 12 months.

Montessori for Toddlers

Fostering Independence and Harmony in the Home 

In a small group setting learn about Montessori for Toddlers and how applying the principles at home can help you support your child’s development. We will look at toddler development and how our knowledge of this and of Montessori principles can help us tackle everything from setting boundaries and dealing with tantrums to setting up the home to encourage independence and harmony in the home.

Preparing for a New Baby

Nurture and Respect

Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, learning about how Montessori principles relate to the first weeks and months of your and your new baby's life together is a beautiful preparation. In a small group we will begin with introductions and then go on to learn about:
- Setting up your home for baby - what you need and what you don't need
-  Symbiotic life - the first two months
- The role of the father
- Respectful care of and communication with your baby
- Development of movement and Language in the first year
- Preparing siblings for the new arrival

We will take a break around halfway through to enjoy some tea and cake together and we will finish with a short meditation.
